Heather Berg is the recipient of the 2022 Working-Class Studies Association C.L.R. James Award for Published Books for Academic or General Audiences for her book, Porn Work: Sex, Labor, and Late Capitalism. Cyril Lionel Robert James better known as C L R James was a historian, journalist, intellectual and socialist. His most famous work is The Black Jacobins, a history of the Haitian Revolution. This award is presented every year.
