Julie Hernandez is an Associate Professor-Researcher with the Department of International Health and Sustainable Development at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Dr. Hernandez is a native French speaker and has over 12 years of experience in public health study design and implementation in West and Central Africa. Her research focuses on community-based and private sector interventions to improve access to sexual and reproductive health services for vulnerable populations, with a particular interest in youth and adolescents.
